Private Showroom
What is a Private Showroom?
Private showroom is a feature only available to PowerTrader members.
The private showroom is your company page on MercaTrade.com for which only users that have been granted an access by you can access your products catalogue and company information.
Why a private showroom?
The Private Showroom allows you to publish products, services or information that contain more strategic attributes such as price or technical specifications. You may want to keep these information away from the public but grant your clients or potentials clients with an access to these information. This is exactly why we have created the Private Showroom.
How secured is my Private Showroom?
1/ Only you can give access to your private showroom to a user.
2/ We have implemented an 'History Function' that allows you to see Who, When, and From Where a user has been accessing your Private Showroom.
Private Showroom is Optional
MercaTrade gives you the ability to Activate and Deactivate your Private Showroom
How to activate your Private Showroom?
Step1 : To Activate your Private Showroom go to My Account and click 'Private Showroom'.
Step 2: From that page just click the 'Activate Showroom' button.
Your Private Showroom is activated automatically.
How to grant access to my Private Showroom?
Step 1: To grant an access to your Private Showroom go to My Account and click 'Private Showroom', then click the 'Members' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Add New Member' button
Step3: Insert Member Name, Member e-mail and create a password for the member then Save. The Member is created.
If you tick the box 'Email password to Member' then click Save. An email will be sent providing your showroom member with all the information details to access your private showroom.
How to view my Private Showroom Members?
To view to your Private Showroom Members go to My Account and click 'Private Showroom', then click the 'Members' button
How to Change a Private Showroom Member details and Password?
Step 1: To view to your Private Showroom Members go to My Account and click 'Private Showroom', then click the 'Members' button
Step 2: From this page you can edit the Member Profile and change its password. You can also delete the members.
How to view my Private Showroom History?
Step 1: To view who has been visiting your Private Showroom go to My Account and click 'Private Showroom', then click the 'Access History' button
You can see the date and time and country of access of each members having accessed your Private Showroom.
How to Set up My Private Showroom?
The setting up of your Private Showroom works exactly the same way as your Public Showroom. Please see How to create My Company Showroom
How to create My Showroom Categories?
The creation of Private Showroom categories works exactly the same way as your Public Showroom categories. Please see How to create My Company Showroom categories
How to add a listing to my Private Showroom?
The creation of Private Showroom listing works exactly the same way as your normal listing. Please see How to create add a listings?
The only difference is that you have to tick the 'Private Showroom listing' box in the step 1 of the Listing form.
