The Manabi Free Trade Zone
The Manabi Free Trade Zone is a block 350 hectares located at 15 kilometers away from the Tranference Seaport of Manta, Ecuador, first HUBin the North-West coast of South America.
ZOFRAMA S.A. is the first company in charge of the administration and developing of the free trade zone in the province of Manabi.
The Metropolitan Free Trade Zone of Quito
The Metropolitan Free Trade Zone of Quito (Metrozona S.A.) is a corporation established on August 27th, 1997 in the Metropolitan District of Quito, Ecuador.
Metrozona S.A. obtained the right to operate a free trade zone on its property, located in Parroquia Yaruquí of the Metropolitan District of Quito, on March 9th, 1999.
The total area of the Metrozona Free Trade Zone is currently 28 hectares (70 acres), although the possibility of annexing an additional 20 hectares (50 acres) in the near future is being examined.
Metrozona's Free Trade Zone currently has 10,000 square meters over covered storage and display space (soon to be expanded to 100,000 covered and air-conditioned square meters).
